First-generation high school and college students often have limited resources and significant financial and family responsibilities. Student stipends are critical to MTB, allowing our students to devote time and energy to their professional development and college-going activities while still meeting their financial responsibilities. All of our college student Leaders and some of our high school Fellows work other jobs, some more than one; however, the MTB stipend frees up some of their time to devote to themselves and the MTB community.
